As part of this initiative, the BJP's 28 Teliamura Mandal organised a 'Thanksgiving Rally' on Friday, the 28th, expressing gratitude to the state government for its developmental work. The rally commenced from the premises of the Teliamura Mandal office, passed through various streets of the town and eventually concluded at the same venue. The rally was attended by Teliamura MLA and Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Kalyani Saha Roy, 28 Teliamura Mandal President Achintya Bhattacharya, along with other party leaders, workers and supporters. Addressing the gathering, MLA Kalyani Saha Roy appealed to the people of the state to support BJP-nominated candidates in the upcoming municipal elections. Taking a dig at the opposition parties, she claimed that their political base had already weakened considerably. She further stated that the development works undertaken across various municipal areas of the state under the BJP-led government over the past five years would play a significant role in shaping voters' decisions in the upcoming elections. The thanksgiving rally is being viewed as a reflection of the BJP's organisational mobilisation and growing electoral preparations in Teliamura ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.
