The emergency operation was conducted under the leadership of Commandant Shri Jai Prakash and the supervision of Second-in-Command Shri Narayan Ram Khadav.

The fire started at around 09:35 AM in a cardamom field within the area of responsibility of SSB Coy Nambu, according to official sources.

Assistant Sub-Inspector (General) Pradeep Mohan Vahile, the Coy Commander, led available personnel with firefighting equipment to the scene within minutes.

Local villagers and plantation owners expressed gratitude for the rapid response of the SSB personnel.
