During the meeting, Department Secretary Shri Sailendra Sharma directed officers to be proactive in the field, supervise project sites effectively, instruct contractors on time, and properly maintain file records and communications, according to the press release.
Minister for Roads and Bridges Department Shri N.B. Dahal stressed maintaining high quality standards and adhering to specifications in developmental works. He urged engineers and officials to work as one team to fulfill the vision of Chief Minister Shri P.S. Tamang for robust road infrastructure.
The Minister called for a comprehensive plan with actionable annual targets for a resilient state road network. He also praised staff for maintaining connectivity during natural calamities while cautioning lax officials to improve their performance and responsiveness.
