According to the report, the initiative aims to build a unified networking platform for indigenous Nagas in the scientific community to foster sustainable development in the state.

The database will help identify candidates for awards such as the Nagaland Science Award for distinguished contributions, and the Young Scientist Award for individuals aged 35 years and below.

Other honors include the Nagaland Technology Award, which covers fields like Digital, Artificial Intelligence, Green Tech, and Rural Development Technologies, as stated in the text.

Interested persons must submit their updated resumes, a recent photograph, and relevant documents by email to nsm.nagaland@gmail.com or physically at the NSM office, with the deadline set for 15th December, 2026.
