According to reports, the fire broke out at Ugyojai Mog's residence on Friday night. Upon noticing the blaze, local residents immediately informed the Jolaibari Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire personnel rushed to the spot after receiving the information. However, by the time they arrived, most of the house had already been reduced to ashes. Despite the efforts of the firefighters, the blaze destroyed the entire household, leaving the owner with substantial losses. No exact assessment of the damage has been made so far.
Preliminary suspicion suggests that the fire may have originated from a burning mosquito coil. However, the exact cause of the incident is yet to be established.
Police from Baikhora Police Station have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
