The decision was taken in a preparatory meeting organized by the District Information and Cultural Office at the Khowai Zilla Parishad conference hall. The meeting was presided over by Khowai Zilla Parishad Sabhapati Aparna Singh Roy (Das).
Other attendees at the meeting included Teliamura Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Nirmal Sutradhar, Bagan Panchayat Pradhan Saraswati Sarkar, and Paharmura Panchayat Pradhan Nabamita Sarkar (Biswas). Various committees and sub-committees have been formed to make the event successful. Additionally, the Forest Department will distribute saplings of various species free of cost on the day of the event.
