Agartala, October 26: Three-year-old Aadyam Dey from Agartala has earned recognition from the Asian Book of World Records for his abilities in early learning, cognitive development and practical life skills.

The recognition, issued on September 29, 2026, acknowledges his achievements under the category “Outstanding Achievement in Kids Special Talent – Early Learning, Cognitive Skills & Life Skills.”

Despite his young age, Aadyam has developed an interest in a variety of activities. He can ride a pedal bicycle with training wheels for more than 100 metres and solve animal- and object-matching puzzles containing around 9–12 pieces in less than a minute.

His abilities also extend to everyday activities. Under adult supervision, he participates in simple cooking tasks and remembers ingredients, spices and the sequence of preparation. He also understands basic traffic signals and takes an interest in guided visualisation and meditation, sometimes creating his own visualisations and guiding his mother through them.

Aadyam’s achievement has brought happiness to his family. His father, Anujit Dey, serves as an Assistant Public Prosecutor in West Tripura, while his mother, Alisha Chakraborty, is a singer and works as an MIS Assistant with the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM).

The family believes that encouraging children to explore their interests, develop independence and learn practical skills from an early age can help build confidence and creativity.

Aadyam’s recognition highlights his diverse abilities and the importance of providing young children with opportunities to explore and develop their individual talents.
